Annie Wootton : Mixed Media Sculpture

Upcoming exhibitions

A successful Members Exhibition was held at the Sewell Gallery, Radley College, during March 2018. We were honoured to have Professor Martin Kemp, a world authority on Leonardo Da Vinci, to open the exhibition. A life-size child's bust made from differnt pulps was accepted for this show and will be shown during Oxford Artweeks. It was cheering to have good press coverage in both the Oxford Mail and Oxford Times.

- OXFORD ARTWEEKS 2018: Venue 237

This year, for Oxford Artweeks 2018, I will be exhibiting once again on Osney Island off the Botley Road. You can find details via the link here.

The address of the venue is 69 Bridge St., Oxford OX2 0BD. More information can be found on the festival website via this link.

Bob and Louise Summers are kindly opening their house again. Louise is a printmaker with her own workshop. She also makes delightful colourful rag rugs. Bob is a basket-maker and produces greenwood furniture. Antoinette Ibsen, who lives next door, is a fine painter of landscapes, semi-abstract with a pleasing pallete. I join them with various small papier maché sculptures and a selection of mounted drawings.

The island has two further venues, one in North Street (Venue 235), and the other round the corner in East Street (Venue 236). Punters, a good pub for lunch, is on the river just round the corner.

We open on Saturday 12th May, from 12 noon to 6 pm, and close on Sunday 20th May. There is a late night opening on Thursday May 16th (12 - 8pm).

A warm welcome for anyone visiting. PLEASE note that I will not be at the exhibition on 14th May but the venue is open.
